Internship for the creation of standard operating procedures for the CFD platform OpenFOAM
Degree program: Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or comparable
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The internship involves the creation of detailed and comprehensive standard operating procedures for OpenFOAM, a widely used open source CFD software. The standard operating procedures are intended to guide users through the entire process of running CFD simulations, from setup to results analysis. This task requires a structured approach to documentation that focuses on best practices and provides clarity for both novice and advanced users.
WE NEED YOU FOR:
developing detailed standard operating procedures for operating the OpenFOAM-CFD platform
working with CFD engineers to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the documentation
testing the procedures to ensure usability
the elimination of problems that arise
Start: by 01.02.2025 at the latest
Duration: 3 months (with the prospect of further collaboration for the preparation of a Master's thesis)
